The Italian lighting design firm Nemo is owned by Federico Palazzari and has been founded in Milan in 1993. The collection of the contemporary design includes among the others Karim Rashid and Foster+Partners models. Alongside with this products Nemo produces the Masters collection, pieces designed by Le Corbusier, Vico Magistretti, Franco Albini, Charlotte Perriand and Kazuhide Takahama.

In The Wind is a floor and pendant lamp designed by the young Arihiro Miyake using LED lighting system with 360° emission. Heads are in die-casted aluminium and like the base and arms can be found painted in matt white, matt black, titan grey and gold.
The body is manufactured through a technology of torsion and misalignment of the aluminium extruded bar, expressly studied for Nemo in Italy.
